The process behind saying YES to the DRES

Every bride will interact with a bridal consultant at any store she goes to shop in.
From deciding on a style, to topping off the gown with a veil and accessories, a bridal stylist's job is to create a look that brings a bridal vision to life and create that perfect moment of bliss and happiness.

At the salon I work at, we have what is called a "Bridal bell ceremony" in which we get not only the bride and her party, but the entire salon involved to celebrate a bride finding her dream gown. Her name and wedding date is announced to the salon and she is asked to make a wish and ring the bell as loudly as possible while everyone around her applauds and celebrates with her.

This ceremony is made to not only encourage the bride and her party in finding the one, but to create a sense of excitement throughout the entire salon that encourages other brides to find the one in order to participate in the ceremony as well.

As a bridal stylist, these are my favorite appointments. Not only am I creating a lasting memory for this bride-to-be, but I help make life long dreams come true daily and making women of all shapes ans sizes feel confident and beautiful.

Being a bridal consultant can be difficult, stressful, and down right draining some days, but seeing the look on a bride's face when she finds "the one" is so rewarding and makes every other bad appointment worth it.
